Other things to note
✔️ All major towns in the valley are located close to or on the banks of the river Beas, but Naggar is perched on the mountainside with possibly the best views in the region. To the south lie the apple and plum orchards of Raison that paint a colourful picture with their splendid, delicate blooms set against a backdrop of stately snow mountains and the tumbling blue waters of the Beas. To the north lie the majestic Himalayas with the Rohtang Pass opening unto Lahaul and Spiti.
